Memberships provide the core funding for the Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands.

You can help the Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands every day with an easy budgetable donation. Donations will be withdrawn from your credit card for a 12 month period. Consider this wonderful and easy option! The friends is truly a "grass roots" organization, a donation from you goes a-long-way. Donors that donate using the "subscription" method become members with all the membership benefits. For the cost of just a pot or two of coffee, you can make a difference! Thank you.

  • Membership provides discounts to FBHI sponsored boat trips.
  • Membership includes a 20% discount with Boston Harbor City Cruises (including whale watches and the Provincetown High Speed Ferry).*  
    *There is no FBHI discount on the Hingham commuter/island boats because these are MBTA boats.     FBHI members going on Boston-based Boston Harbor City Cruises excursions will continue to receive a 20% discount either online or at the ticket window with proof of membership.
  • 15% discount with Massachusetts Bay Lines Cruises including harbor tours, pirate cruises, music cruises and more!
  • Membership includes a 10% discount on Park Light House Tours.
  • Discounts on FBHI sponsored boat trips, totes and T-shirts.
  • Our E-Tidings newsletter provides current information about projects, programs and events offered by FBHI and happening in the park. (past editions of Tidings can be found on the Tidings page). Members without email do receive a paper copy of Tidings.
